Dear Future Student,
My thoughts on writing had always been bad. Either I did not really care or i could not really give enough detail or really make my paper as long as the assignment was supposed to be and my grade showed it. In reality I just think it bored me to write. Wroting was never a strong point of mine.
That was until this year in English 110. I have to admit i was not happy about it. But it seemed that for some reason this class would be different. I was not happy to hear that our main writing assignment would be 7-10 pages though. I was actually worried about it i had difficulty wriiting 3 pages let alone 7. But the set up for this project was really amazing and that made it so much easier write. First we just chose a topic that seemed to interest us and wrote 2 pages about a source we found on the web not that bad. Then we focused it down and added in more resources to the overall picture this expanded it to 4 pages yet again not that bad. To finally our full 7 page research project pulling it all together and adding more detail into it. Developing the project like this made it so wasy for me and I felt like 7 pages was really nothing.
To me English 110 did really help me grow a lot as a writer. It taught me not to go head first into a long paper but try to break it down into a lot fewer parts so it does not seem that big or hard at all. I had a lot of fun in this class as it seemed I always got to write about something I found intersting. I would recommend it to anyone.
Sincerely,
Justin Weaver

All about the benjamins
link http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2018918/megan_wants_a_millionaire_authentic.html?cat=7
In a review about a recent reality show it really gives a question about love and money. In the show " Megan wants a millionaire " it takes the word golddigger to the extreme. In this show a women named Megan wants to find love in money. That is that her dream is to become some millionaires " trophy " wife just for finacial comfort. Not actually caring about the person just their bank account. This brings about just how some women do intend just to marry for money.
Vh1, who broadcasts the show, surprises me somewhat that they would even go along with such an idea to make the show. It is different shows like " Flavor of Love " and " Rock of Love " when the person is honestly looking for the love of their life instead of just money. No other connection is needed or wanted. Is this what society has come to show?
But to me an even more surprising thing then a women getting her own TV show just to search for money is the number of willing guys that go along with it. To me this is absolutely amazing just how many people in todays world set aside finding true love for money or for a trophy wife and dont have a problem with it.
In some weird way this shows exactly what " Modern " love is all about. Not passion, love or kindness but for physical assessts. Not just money but beauty and other such things. People find love in objects not people it seems. That love isn't an emotion to us anymore. It's just a material.

Market Place

The very air seems different while walking in through market place's doors. Everyone seems to look at you when you walk through the doors. Market place a place to get food and either eat it in the lounge area or get it to go. But something about market place pulls you in and makes you eat there. Makes you stay no matter how busy it is or how busy you are.
Market place is a very unusual place i noticed. Always busy it always seems like your next to somebody you don't know or waiting in line nest to people you will never see again. Market place seems to try and press people together. To make people get to know one another. But in my opinion even to its best effort market place remains a place where people care less to get to know one another.
I noticed people sitting by themselves not really caring about other people or even what anybody is doing next to them. These people, aside from when trying to get past other people, don't seem to notice each other and don't care to. This is shown in one strong group. Football players. They seem to rule market place.
They all stay together and sit and joke while really not paying attention to anybody or anything around them. While everybody seems to notice them and try to act cool around them. Everybody notices them and adjust themselves. If they show it or not everybody does. Some even try to act like they are not there. But i see wondering eyes and quick glances. People want to be like them rather they think so or not. They seem to be the center of attention and sit in the middle of the room. So everyone knows who they are. kings of market places.

High School Lesson
While reflecting on my four years of high school I see a mass of useless math problems, historical facts and thousands and thousands of words written for papers and other such things. I remember two very different types of papers I had to write for my senior year English class. These two papers showed me a lot more about myself then I ever realized any paper could. They were both very valuable tools in shaping the way I think now.
The first being a 4,000 word paper comparing themes of four books we had read and the second one being a self reflection of our previous thirteen years of school. I struggled extremely with the first paper not that 4,000 words is a lot it was just I would procrastinate and it was very time consuming. And quite frankly it was an extremely boring project over four very boring books and I found it extremely difficult to keep interested in writing it at all. These types of papers never captured my interest and honestly made me hate writing and my grade showed on this assignment how little effort I put towards it.
I wasn’t thrilled but our teacher requested a second paper to be done. But there was something different about this paper. It really seemed to re-open my eyes on the idea of writing and I believed prepared me much more than any research paper could have for college. The paper focused on me and my life. What I have done and what I plan to do. A reflection of thirteen years of school summed up in two very short pages. This paper showed me just how much I have done to get where I am now. Showed me not only how important writing is but the overall goal of the assignment. To enjoy what I am writing about. This paper made me think on how I could still better myself and work toward my goals and to enjoy doing it. It really made me focus on what was important in life. What I needed in life to be successful. This paper seemed to make me find my passion for school again. Something I had lost long ago. This paper was exactly the motivation I needed to rekindle the lost spark.
